Well, my kW250S arrived this week under the same deal. It is just stunning. As far as I can tell the power amp is much the same as the A1008 but with built-in power supply and 2 transformers instead of 1. And the feet DO glow blue. What really got me is that the rear feet glow as well as the front. Cute. It makes a lot of sense to have a high-quality DAC built into the pre-amp. The result with my SB3 is superb clarity, rock-solid sound stage and tactile quality to the sound - I feel I could reach out and touch the instruments. Also, enough power headroom for everything to sound effortless, and go insanely loud. I just hope it proves to be as reliable as my previous MF A3.2 gear.
