I suggest a Panasonic xr55, 57 or xr700. You can dualamp, triamp these in stereo mode. Magnepans have stable impedence so should be ok with the Panny. A Squeezebox paired with the Panny using a Glass toslink, will give you the most transparent sound. (the Primare suggested here would be the other end, full-bodied/smooth but really not neutral or transparent)
