If you can buy cables for $s/foot which meet those minimum requirements (and you can, easily), my statement is quite meaningful and quite important (since all audiophile cables sell for far, far more than that). The real problem is that the debate has become politicized, I suppose because cable manufacturers are for-profit, and because of the pride and status-consciousness of their customers. That makes it hard to have a calm and reasoned discussion, but regardless the facts are the facts. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Most of my cables are from Radio Shack, although I do have an old pair of Monsters and some bluejeans and monoprices as well. I care about cables in so far as they matter (not much) and as a fascinating economic/sociological phenomenon. -- opaqueice ------------------------------------------------------------------------ opaqueice's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4234 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44124 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
