Hi. Thanks. I do belong to a group that believes that swapping a cheaper power cord of a CD player to a "more" up market version produces positive results. But I can't explain these kind of effects, and so I cannot claim if some versions of firmware perform better than others in the sound quality department. I am happy that Logitec allows users to upgrade or downgrade to any squeezecenter/slimserver version.
