You're probably right Tom and I probably will get the stock TP first. I think I'm leaning towards a tube DAC or tube linestage. I can't help feeling that inserting tubes somewhere in the path would help with the warm glow I once enjoyed.. It seems that the transporter is one piece of equipment that would serve many functions (source, DAC, preamp) and if one desires, a tube output stage. Don't know how the Duett would help considering I already have a modded SB3.
