Hi Dave. Thanks for your input. I have similar experiences with my setup. About 20% of my CDs sound like the music was made for my system. About 70% sound pretty good. About 10%, especially the some older, remastered CDs, sound terrible. I have just recently been getting serious about this hobby (i.e. big bucks) and I can see that the search for the perfect system will never end.
