I've never installed the Inguz plugin, so can't comment on how lightweight it is, but from the web page it would appear to be what you require, with the ADDED option of room correction. In other words, if you don't want room correction, it still seems to offer a nice, 2, 3, 5 or 9 band equalizer. I would imagine that any plugin that tries to accomplish this will have a similar processing load on the server, and I suspect that the load is quite considerable given the calculations that have to be done. But like I said, I haven't installed this plugin, so am only guessing. Others with more experience of the plugin could advise better.
Have you tried it, or did you, like me, discount it after a first look because you don't have a suitable microphone for measuring your room's response? -- chill ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47667 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
