I auditioned the 1030 Q s against 904i s with an CA 540Av2 and bought the MS, which I still somewhat regret (should have brought my own CDs and taken some more time). The MS generally sound more 'revealing' and sound 'really aggressive' to me sometimes, while the QA are more 'forgiving' even with very difficult material, but still sound 'HiFi'. Of course I only listened extensively to my MS, but I can say that I am not entirely happy with their suitability for Jazz and Classical music and that I would go for the QA now. But you should follow the most important rule when looking for speakers, go and listen yourself! And take your time and bring your own music to avoid the mistakes I made.
