I want my iMac (new model with digital out) + Squeezecenter to stream the audio of any video file (while playing the video) to either the toslink or the coax digital input of my Transporter.
Basically I want my squeezecenter and Transporter to hijack the audio stream from video files, reason for this is that I would like to use the mac also as a media server, the video out is no issue at all, but the audio.... of course I can connect a 3.5" jack to the mac and stream the analogue sound, but I want better sound than that, hence the TP option.
