I'm not sure you intended those two criteria to be in a particular
order, but in case anyone infers the wrong thing from "the second
being...", I'd have to point out that the voltage is the MOST important
part if you don't want to damage the powered device.  A power supply
with too high a voltage will likely damage the device being powered,
whereas a power supply with too low a current rating will simply mean
that the device will not function with that PSU.  At worst, the PSU may
be damaged, but the powered device will be not be harmed.
