Ciaran, the only way to get something is to ask for it, and I'm sure if enough people ask then it will happen (in some form). The slim/logitech guys have an excellent track record of listening to these forums and using it to improve their products.
The Transporter is a great piece of kit and I wouldn't go back to a conventional CD transport. The whole external clocking, effects loop & external inputs functionality of the Transporter is still developing and improving - So there will still be a few niggles. My pet irritation is the inability to switch between slave and master clocking of the Transporter from its front-panel - You have to use a web-browser to do it, you can't even do it on the new SBC remote.
