I'm listening to the A5s right now (I have a pair at work). I've had a variety of powered monitors (JBL, Genelec), but the A5s, while much less expensive, are cleary better. I definitely recommend them.
The only drawback is that the A5s don't have RCA inputs, so you will need an RCA-to-mini cable with the Squeezebox. At home I have two Transporter, one of which is connected directly to my Cary amp...
