This problem has never been resolved and was recently discovered by another user >>-> http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=324187&postcount=342 , however this time it was blamed on MusicIP and was also posted in their forums. The MIP people tested submitted tracks and concluded that it was a Squeezebox problem >>-> http://forums.musicip.com/index.php?showtopic=3649 <<-< as the noise only appeared when played through a Squeezebox, not through other players.
