Here's two questions which are somewhat related to this issue. Are shorter toslink cables "better" than longer? I'm talking in the range of 1' to 1 meter, but a general answer for longer length would be of interest. And in my case whether it's toslink or coax it could be as short as 9" assuming there are no restrictions on the bending radius. Does anyone know if there is some minimum radius to bends for optic cable? I bought the tools to terminate coax cables just so I didn't have extra length hanging around picking up rf. I haven't investigated if terminating toslink is DIY or not. George
