I apologize for the hi-jacking of the thread. I think it's safe to say that the air has been cleared and that we can now return to the regularly scheduled program. Plus I also agree that the reasons for the sonic differences between the flac file and the original CD must lie with the gentleman's equipment and not with the flac file. And so once again peace and harmony are restored to the forum. As a matter of fact, I just requested to become a friend of Nonreality on Last.fm since I really didn't mean to create such a fuss and harbor no ill will towards my fellow forum members, whether or not I may agree with them. In the future I'll try to be a little more understanding and not get my panties all in a bunch whenever someone is just pulling my leg. The funny thing is over on the Stereophile forum I'm one of the major defenders of digital music streaming and as such not even considered by many of the other members to be an audiophile in good standing because of my position on this subject.
