IME a lot of jitter sounds like a headache...or at least you don't want
to listen for very long. It certainly doesn't translate for me into:

poor soundstage (left/right seperation or solidity of image)
lack of "depth" of soundstage or even "height" (?)
lack of/too much bass or treble or any frequency range for that matter
lack of dynamics
lack of "air" (?)
noise/hiss/hum


It does make it so you can't (or don't feel like) tap your foot to the
music without concentrating. It can make the band sound like they were
having bad day...
