The problem soupdragon is referring to is to do with the digital out on the SB3. There is an option in the settings to turn off the digital out when the SB is off. It hasn't worked since v. 7.1. My DAC stays on now even when the SB3 is off, i.e., the SB3 continues to feed a digital signal to the DAC.
