But you don't know that. The first and most obvious explanation for such a thing is perceptual bias - we know for a fact that it affects everyone very strongly, and we know that the only way it can be eliminated is via a careful level-matched blind test. Going further, even if you really do prefer the Kora blind, why should we suppose it's -not- because of its relatively high level of harmonic distortion?
