Hook your SqueezeBox/TP up with TosLink or the DIGITAL RCA Coax
(S/PDIF).
Set your SqueezeBox/TP to disable volume (which will set it Max
digitally).

Use your receiver to control volume.

If your receiver supports DTS/DD which I believe it does download a DD
and/or DTS test file and see if it plays. If it does not then you have
something setup wrong.

If you get that working you can RIP DVDA's DVD's (see Wiki for details)
with DD or DTS and play them back as multichannel on your system.
