If you're comparing bass you will notice the same bass played louder sounds more impactful and deeper somehow. Also (as with other parts of the frequency spectrum) distorted bass can paradoxically seem to have more 'impact' than clean unclipped bass. But comparing apples with apples in terms of loudness is essential.
In the scheme of things changing your source is not the right thing to do to improve bass. You're already using Inguz, done properly you can improve the bass greatly with this. I use 12 bands up to 125Hz (nothing above that) - Inguz does a great job of fine adjustments to get a more even bass response. You will notice some 'great bass tracks' not sounding so great with flat bass response. Some others will sound more amazing. But you will notice music in general sounding better, drums and bass guitar get separated and everything sounds a little more realistic. Depends what you're after. You're limited by the speakers (or sub) in the end though. A new source won't give you that big advance. The SB3 is pretty good - especially once you take into account the distinction between a difference and an improvement.
