Although before I bought my system I though I'd use the Controller exclusively, I would REALLY miss the graphic display of my Transporter and the ability to choose/change a song with my Harmony remote as well as my Controller (I use them each about 50% of the time). The VU meters are an invaluable (and stylish) tool as well.
For that reason, I'd go with a SB3 (or Transporter) w/ Controller combo over the Duet anyday.
