As long as the music plays, i.e. your not getting breakups, pops, crackles etc. and the switch works for other purposes, there is no way the switch can affect sound-quality. I won't go into details, but this is way different than any discussions on e.g. cables, file-formats, power-supplies, dacs etc. It is beyond arguing.
