As a Qsonix end user i have to disagree with your opinion. While it is a higher price point then what you mentioned it's all about the interface and the experience. Your cheap PC won't sound like my Qsonix, nor will you have the flawless interface which they provide. Given the ability to locate any song at any split second in my collection of 2000+ CDs is amazing. In addition, it's fun to use as well. as opposed to your setup which might be tedious.
