Right, sometimes the FIFO based approaches are also not totaly immune
to jitter. Not sure, how this happens. Probably the algorithm which
adjusts he clock causes it to "thrash". ML themselves say they have
improved this feature compared to previous iterations. Even otherwise,
the DAC's output should be very good. I am not sure I will be able to
tell the difference, like the OP did.
