Downgraded from SB2/Benchmark to SB2/Beresford, the Beresford was no better than SB2 alone to my ears, 2. Upgraded to SB2/Lavry, sounds warmer and slightly more listenable than SB2/Benchmark. much better than SB2/Beresford 3. Sidegraded to Transporter analogue out to amp
I also did not expect the Transporter to be much of an improvement since many in this forum mentioned that they are very close. Somehow in my all Naim system they sound very good together. Perhaps it is system matching? I only know that I no longer have the itch to upgrade. Are anyone else on this board using Transporter in their Naim setup? I;d be very interested in how it compares with CDX2 or CD5X. -- agentsmith System 1: Transporter and a mostly Naim system System 2: SB2 connected digitally to a Meridian F80 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ agentsmith's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1838 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57325 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
