Nope, I was think of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDP-10 and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tops-20

that we, compuserv and others used. It was later that Compuserv figured
that home computer hobbyists might pay to use the systems at night, when

I don't know, I bought my first CD player ~85, it was a Magnavox (really
Philips labeled with their consumer brand). I have a Beta VCR from ~82
that talks of the Sony PCM external box that could be used to store PCM
data on the helical tape. The CD player, and four or five replacements
are long gone since I turned to the SlimDevices side. I still have the
Beta....
