It was actually an RKB-2100, which I got at an amazing price - otherwise I would be driving those things straight off the reciever...
The speakers should arrive in a week or so - I'll let you know when I work them out a little. I've got a lot of placement flexibility in my room, so hopefully between that and the little plugs, I can get it sounding right. They are firing at a large open space behind me - my living room has vaulted ceiling and opens in to the dining room, so there will be little behind me to reflect sound. The only other amps I demoed were those Marantz recievers. The Rotel had a little more omph behind it, even at the same power rating as the Marantz. I guess maybe a little fuller sound? I don't know if I can really tell - the RKB-2100 was more than half off. So even not intending to buy the amp that day, I bit. -- androidtopp My SB3 is the most expensive part of my stereo.
