Which Hypex amp are you considering? take a look at the genesis
reference  and of course, the kharma mp150's which are made by hypex
and designed by the same guy but the module is made for higher fidelity
specs. 

I really struggled to choose between the kharma's and my current
Halcro. I wouldve been happy with the kharma's their sound has an
incredible relaxed resolution and immense depht among other
qualities... the Halcro's uncanny volume(space) and transparency were
the factors that made it sound slightly better in my system. But I
repeat, the kharma's are in the same league, just different. I doubt
you can buy better amps for less than 10k, I auditioned everything I
could get from dealers around.
