It's a no brainer to get the Transporter. It will eat at you that you can never play true 24/96 material with anything else. The Transporter is a work of art. Just get it under the 30 day return policy and I'll bet you won't return it. I've been experimenting with Audio Remaster (http://www.dvd2one.com/?loc=audioremaster) which does some very impressive processing. Takes massive mips to do it real time though. But it convinced me higher sampling rate is a really a nice option to have. -- mswlogo XP > Cat5 > Transporter > SPDIF > Meridian G68 > DSP6000, DSP5500HC, DSP5000 XP > Cat5 > SB3 > SPDIF > Meridian DSP5000 XP > Cat5 > SB3 > SPDIF > Meridian G91 > DSP5000 'My Transporter Setup' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=350741&postcount=45) 'Hitch Hikers Guide to Meridian' (http://www.meridianunplugged.com) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mswlogo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9090 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35775 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
