There is no need to spend anywhere near $150 for an interconnect. I second the Blue Jeans recommendation. I am using their 1m interconnect, but will probably change that for a longer one based on the length issue I recently learned about thanks to Phil above and something similar I read in Stereophile's review last month of the Bel Canto 24/96 DAC. BTW, I have the DLIII and am really happy with it. If you haven't bought it yet, check around for prices.
