Actually you mentioned you did the xilinx reset.  I personally never did
that before.

But there is also a Factory Reset procedure, last time I had a problem
with the Transporter caused by playing some 24bit 192Khz files, a
Factory reset fixed it.

To do a factory reset:

1.  Disconnect the power
2. Press and hold "Add" on the remote
3. Reconnect the power
4. Release the "Add" button when you see "Factory reset..." on the
screen 

You then have to go through the initial network setup procedures etc.
again.

Give it a shot, it fixed my Transporter a few times.
