You are talking about the Linn Sneaky DS? (the one with the built in amp) They also have the Akurate DS and Klimax DS which are just line-level players I've heard all three over the course of a three hour 1:1 personal demo run by Linn themselves (not a dealer). The Sneaky is on a level with an SB3+good DAC. The Akurate is on a par with SB3+ very good dac (sort of where I am now). The Klimax DS is... beyond my wallet right now - possibly ever, but if I could afford one, I'd buy one. But then again, I like the Linn sound and many don't. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
