Well I dont think anything is lacking, but going from the built in outputs on the SB and comparing them to this DAC, I feel I have more depth and a wider sound stage so I'm wondering if there is even more of that 'difference' left by going up a notch. The best would be to try someones more expensive DAC to see. Dont get me wrong, the sound is very good and I'm happy but I guess I'm more curious than anything else...
