There are some theoretical advantages to bi-wiring (one amp, two wire pairs to each speaker). However, I don't see any reason for you to bi-amp. The primary reason for using multiple amplifiers is to bypass the passive crossover circuity in the speakers by using an outboard, line-level crossover.
Since it doesn't appear that you're planning on using an external crossover, each amp would still be running through the existing half of the speaker crossover. It seems to me like the most likely outcome would a mismatch between the tweeter and woofer because of the different model amplifiers. Nomally if you're going to bi-amp with an external crossover, you would still use the same model amplifier for both amps. For example, if the gain of the amplifiers varies even slightly, it will throw off the speaker balance. I just don't see any upside or future migration path in what you're proposing.
