Funny, I was just reading their website and realizing that [like
everything else] each manufacturer claims their way is best.  

i.e.:
Blue Jeans claim that a single synthetic fiber is better than bundled
glass.
Impact Acoustics says it's the other way around and that synthetic will
degrade with time, yet,
Kimber Kable's prefer synthetic over glass because it doesn't produce
micro-fractures from slight bending over time.
Yet again, Audioholics

claim > Quality TOSLINK assemblies should be made from multiple fibers of a very

While I was hoping to hit on an online vendor and give them my CC, I
don't think there is a consummate way to choose the best cable without
hearing it myself.
