Had the same issue with my first transporter. Rattling and regular clicking (every time menu was at last entry).
Logitech replaced this first unit. The second one i got was perfect quiet, no noise at all. The second unit suddenly stopped working, no display, no responding. My dealer send this also back to logitech, but they did not replace it. I only got the money back. With this experiences in the past I will go with a SB3 + external DAC.
