Thanks Dave - I'd forgotten that. I'm sending 24-bit silence to the SB3. There's clearly a large discrepancy between JA's results and mine. The only thing I can categorically say is that if I connect the SB3 DAC (and play silence) there are LF artifacts, if I disconnect the DAC there are none. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
