Yes Mark, it does claim only 128kps, but check it out because the sound quality and clarity really seems so much better. To me it is much better than other services. Add a piece from Classical.com and the same piece from another service to a playlist and compare for yourself and let me know what you think. To me Classical.com is near CD quality.
