On (1), are you using some sort of replay gain? If so, then of course that will make a very big difference. (2) is expected, of course. The Transporter is telling you what's been done on the server. Finally, as you mention, of course changing the server setting can change the way it sounds to you. If so, then so. Each of us should set it how it sounds, to us, the best. -- rgheck Transporter --> Pass Labs D1 --> Pass Labs Aleph 2s --> Thiel CS 1.6s Transporter --> Adcom GDA-600 --> Pass Labs B1 (DIY) --> Adcom GFA-5800 --> Thiel CS 1.6s Receiver --> T-Amp --> Monitor Audio Radius 90s Receiver --> Sony HT Receiver (Garbage) --> Monitor Audio Raduis HT Setup SqueezeboxServer on a 350MHz Pentium II with 768MB RAM, 1.5TB storage, running Centos 5.x ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rgheck's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=25803 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71321 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
