I've made some progress getting DRC installed into my system, but am
still having some problems.

Basically, I don't like the sound of the "corrected" audio. It's not
horrible, but there is a distinct "hollow sound" in the midrange that
makes even closely miked vocalists sound as if they were singing from
another room. Interestingly, the "NoCorrection" filter sounds the best
of all.

I find this little tidbit in my prep.log:
----------------------------------------------
nput configuration file: minimal-44.1.drc
Parsing configuration file...
Parsing completed.
Adding command line options...
Configuration parameters check.
Allocating input signal array.
Reading input signal: Right_imp.pcm
Input signal read.
Input signal prewindowing.
!!Warning: input signal too short for correct signal prewindowing,
spurios spikes may be generated.
Counting mic compensation definition file points: ecm8000.txt
Mic compensation definition file points: 126
Allocating mic compensation filter arrays.
Reading mic compensation definition file: ecm8000.txt
Mic compensation direct inversion.
-----------------------------------------------

I am using the glsweep program supplied with DRC, and the sweeps I made
with Audacity are :60 seconds long.

Why is the prep.log telling me that the input signals are too short??

What am I overlooking??

Thanks in advance for your help.
