I have to agree with the original post (earwaxer) about the improved sound quality of wired vs. wifi. I have a Linn-Naim system and a SB3. My files are Flac encoded using Db-poweramp. . To my ears, the music is more interesting and the difference is not subtle. The wifi feed is just OK. With the Sb3 wired, there is just more to listen to. Everything seems to be just a bit more in focus. I am curious to hear the SB3 with an external DAC. To add to my own lunatic beliefs, I can hear a difference between the other Flac encoders (eac and media monkey) and found db-poweramp to yield the most musical file.
