First of all unless you have headphones which have balanced inputs there is no need to use the Transporter's balanced outputs. Of course you may be using the Transporter's RCA outputs to feed your tube amp in which case you would only have the balanced outputs available. There are headphone amps with balanced inputs but they are somewhat expensive, such as this offering from Headroom at $1,700 (http://www.headphone.com/headphone-amps/headroom-balanced-ultra-desktop-amp.php) I suggest that you ask this question over at Head-Fi.org (http://www.head-fi.org/forums/) for a more definitive answer. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75310 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
