Great, thanks. So I started to look on the internet for stepped
attenuators and see a lot of offerings. However, too much choices! 10,
50 or 100 kilo ohm?? 12, 24, 36 or 48 steps? etc. etc. Can somebody
gives me a direction? I see some positive feedback on Endler stepped
attenuators, see http://mysite.verizon.net/vze4c5pt/id2.html

These seem to have the advantage that I can choose for XLR or RCA
versions and they stick directly in the connectors at the back of the
poweramp, so no additional interconnects necessary. Would this be a
proper choice or does anyone has better recommendations?
