I make no audiophile claims, but I made myself what sounds, to me, a superb Class D dual mono amplifier out of two Hypex UcD180 modules (www.hypex.nl). The Hypex modules have balanced inputs, and also come in higher powered versions than my 180W units (they do 400W and 700W versions). If you're not inclined to make your own, I see that they now do complete products in their webshop, but it worked out a lot cheaper to make my own.
