HI, Im using a Touch with a "modded" Caiman Dac. I've upgraded the Regulators and the Output capacitors, which gave a great upgrade to the standard Dac. Its fair to say that the Dac Im using is a fair bit better than the standard 7510(I've also owned a 7510 MK6/3 and a standard 7520), and I've compared the Touch analogue with it running into my Dac. The Dac is better..more of everything..just plays music not hifi. That said, I could live with the analogue outss on the Touch if I didnt have the Dac, its very very good, a lot better than the SB3 I owned previously. Guess Im saying "you would get away with" just using the Touch on its own, I'd equate it with a very good £600 CD player...but as a digital transport its capable of a whole lot more. I'm upgrading my Dac again because of it! -- Gazjam ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gazjam's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18604 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78036
