I agree totally. I planned to buy a Touch as secondary system, but I'm not sure anymore. When I bought my transporter (2008), support was very good and we saw frequent firmware updates. Now slimdevices (or whatever it is called now) seems to have been brought down to so little people, it isn't capable to support quite recent hardware anymore.
The transporter was 2000 euro two years ago; it's very disappointing that for such an expensive piece of hardware support is just stopped. (BTW, the transporter remains a fantastic player.)
