Another vote for Blue Jean Cables. All my Balanced Cables are from Blue
Jean Cables.

I have several of their RCA ICs and a pair of Anti Cables ICs. The Anti
Cables are about 3 times the price of the Blue Jeans but still not
outrageous as some cables get.

I have tried many cables over the years having worked at a few high end
audio shops giving me access to cables that I would never even think
about buying due to their unbelievable cost.

It is my opinion that Monster Cables are ALL advertising and hype. And
guess who is paying for all that advertising?

It comes to a point that as long as the cable is properly constructed
and made from proper materials, they all do the same thing with the
rest being snake oil.

The biggest sonic differences I have heard over the years are how
different cables act with specific equipment. What I mean by this is
that interconnects tend to have a signature or speciality. Due to how
frequency affects how a signal travels on wire/strands one cable will
seem to sound different from another due to how they differ in
construction. So the construction can cause a cable to sound bright,
dull, muted, depending on what frequency the cable construction favors.
This can actually help by matching a cables signature to help benefit
how a pre-amp and amp sound together.

My suggestion is borrow as many cables as one can from his local dealer
to see what works best in ones system rather then go by brand or price.
Obviously there is a point at which interconnects are drastically
interfering with the sound/signal due to poor construction and poor
material choices. Above this are cables that are being as neutral as is
possible which I consider proper cables. And above these are the ones
that go so far beyond what anybody can hear and are outrageously
priced.

So in the end, find the cables that sound good for you in your system.
Not what some advertising or salesman say you need or are the ones to
go with. The test at the dealer is to have them do the blind testing
with you switching the cables for them to get the sell. If they will
not go to this length to sell the cables to you, then stay away from
those cables. Also if they agree and can't 'pick' the superior
interconnects 75% or more of the time, again stay away as its all
advertising hype.
