The "705Kbps" message is plain wrong, it some kind of standard message it's "ok" for 16/44.1 wav or alac (16/44.1 flac is 600 to 800kbps) . For some technical reason sbs don't see the exact rate ? or something to show in the menu, but the signal to the player is ok. There is a post about it every week for the last 2 years or more I think 192kHs is downsampled to 96kHz 24 bit . I think Logitech should replace this with: * Make a new attempt to show The exact rate and format. or. * replace it with a general (trancoded by sbs to flac/mp3) message *no numbers is way better than bogus numbers* -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 and assorted amps SiriuS, Classe' Primare and Dynadio speakers, Contour 4 Contour Center, and Contour 1.3SE for the rear ch.
