I replaced my SBR with a Touch several months ago and I have never regretted this move. I find that the Touch has a clearer sound and is not as bass heavy as the Receiver. Since you are using an external DAC (the Cambridge Audio DacMagic) I would say that the improvement will not be night and day but there still will be a noticeable difference in the sound. You should also consider the Touch's ability to play 24bit/88.2&96kHz files and the upgrade is more than worthwhile. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82319 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
