I never enjoyed the "white album" as much as when I bought it at the local record store the first day it was available, and played it over and over and over on my cheap record player or my buddy's cheap record player. Context is indeed important and one of the things I enjoy about music is its ability to instantly transport me to a different time and place. -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72852 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
